Dec 8, 2 pm, Church of the Savior, 2537 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights, Lucia and Christmas festival. Members: see the newsletter for December.We will return to our traditional format with a julbord (Swedish for Christmas table) followed by a concert of the Vasa Voices (our Lodge’s Swedish chorus), and the Lucia Pageant. Let us all plan to invite family and friends to make it a BIG CELEBRATION of our Swedish and Scandinavian heritage! Cost is $15 per person or $40 per family of the same household (may pay in advance or at the door with cash or check)

A Julotta is a service that celebrates the time of birth of Jesus Christ. Jul means Christmas, otta is the time which is slightly before dawn. A light traditional breakfast will be served after the service.

We participate with other Scandinavian groups in Cleveland in celebrating Leif Erikson Day with a toast to Leif followed by a luncheon at Shooters Restaurant in the Flats . Who was Leif Erikson?
