FOR THOSE WHO WONDER ‘WHAT HAPPENED TO STREAMS—THE DIGITAL STREAMING OPTION OFFERED SINCE 2020’?  Here is the answer:

CIFF50 Streams “Best of Fest” will be available following the Festival, and feature a collection of some of our CIFF50 award winning films and audience favorites.  (Sunday, April 19–Sunday, April 26, 2026).  Package price for all films no longer exists.  It’s a pay by film that you desire to see.  Coupon discounts do not apply to “Best of Fest”.

Digital  Film Guide for CIFF50 is available, as well as a PDF attachment, but link provided did not copy 

Hard copies of the Festival Guides are limited this year.  CIFF is moving away from paper.  It’s a digital world.  For those attached to the paper program guide, they are available at CUYAHOGA County Library locations, the Cedar-Lee Theater on Lee Road, and some establishments ON Lee Road.  I suggest calling the Cuyahoga County location you plan to visit to ensure that they do have them available A limited number are available at all Cuyahoga County Public Libraries https://cuyahogalibrary.org/branches, as well as the Rocky River and the Westlake Porter libraries. Look for them as well at the Cedar Lee Theater.

  • 100 Liters of Gold                     In a small village in southern Finland, the middle-aged sisters Taina and Pirkko are famous for brewing the best Sahti, a traditional local beer.   • The Last Viking                       Anker is released from prison following a fifteen-year sentence for robbery. The money from the heist was buried by Anker’s brother, Manfred. Only he knows where it is. Unfortunately, Manfred (Mads Mikkelsen) has since developed a mental illness causing him to forget all. Together, the brothers embark on an unexpected journey to locate the money and discover who they really are. THE LAST VIKING is an offbeat, intriguing, and devious comedy about identity.   • Parability Shorts Program       Original Title: Morfar har et ødelagt øye og Mamma er en adventure (English Title: Grandpa has a broken eye and mom is an adventure.)  “How can you think if you cannot speak?” Four kids, age 5 to 15, share their thoughts on aphasia and show us how they communicate and interact with someone, who has difficulties expressing themselves verbally.  
  • PLUS a collection of FIVE other short films in one sitting. They are:
  • Shorts Program 12                  Surrounded by babies at her sister’s baby shower, EVA (34) fends off endless questions about when she’ll be starting a family of her own. Overwhelmed, Eva is struck by a searing stomach pain and rushes to the bathroom, where she unexpectedly gives birth to OVY, her baby-loving reproductive organs. Mortified, Eva tries to run away, but Ovy chases her through town, determined to convince her they should have a baby. Eva pushes back, and gradually they wear each other down and begin to listen. As they finally see eye to eye, Eva finds to courage to speak her truth.  PLUS SIX other short films all in one sitting.  Norway, United Kingdom, Sweden plus six other countries.

THERE WILL BE A TOTAL OF 16 VOUCHERS GOOD FOR ONE TICKET.  The codes are not in my possession yet. They are good for on-premise/in-person viewing only.  Which means from April 9 through April 18, 2026.  They are not redeemable for “Best of Fest” the digital streaming portion which will be Sunday, April 19 through Sunday, April 26, 2026.  Tickets for Streaming portion will be a full ticket price as no discounts apply to the streaming portion. They might create a package of ten tickets at a reduced price, however, that has not yet been announced.  

The digital guide is your Best Friend for all you need to know.  I have also attached a PDF copy of the Guide that you can save in your computer.
