  The story about how New Sweden came about.well be given by Dr. Kim-Eric Williams, Swedish lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania and Honorary Governor and Historian of the Swedish Colonial Society has  published numerous articles and essays about the New Sweden Colony. 

  
  

  Dr. Williams make a presentation of. the history of the New Sweden Colony on the Delaware. It will take place at 7 PM on Saturday,  September 20 at Peace Lutheran Church, 3740 Mayfield Road in Cleveland Heights. 

  
  

  Light refreshments will be served.There is no charge for this event.

• Leif Erickson Day Celebration

  Meet at the Leif Erickson statue at the back of 'Shooters' at 11:45 for a toast of Leif.  Then walk to the Music Box Supper Club, 1148 Main Ave. Cleveland, OH 44113.  A special menu is being prepared for us.  The Danish club has been making arrangements for all of us.  The Leif Erickson Presidential proclamation will be read.
